The main method of loading materials on laser cutting machines is to use vacuum tables to suck up the materials. Because of the low investment cost in this way, even if the thickness of the sheet is 20mm, only one person needs to realize safe feeding.
1. The pressure principle of the vacuum table. The vacuum table relies on vacuum pressure to suck and grab the plate. The surface of the board is relatively flat, and the lip of the suction cup is softer and thinner, which can fit the board. When the vacuum pump draws a vacuum, a vacuum is generated in the inner cavity of the suction cup, forming a vacuum negative pressure. The higher the vacuum degree of the vacuum table, the greater the suction power; the larger the suction cup size, the greater the suction power.
2. Suction safety under dynamic conditions.
To ensure safety, when the suction cup is configured and the safe vacuum pressure is set, the theoretical suction power of the suction cup is calculated under the condition of 60% vacuum, and then divided by the safety factor of 2 to obtain the required safe suction power.
For example, if the weight of the steel plate for laser loading is 500kg, then at least 6 sets of suction cups with a diameter of 200mm must be equipped for safety.
The safety factor of suction is related to the degree of plate shaking. The more severe the shaking, the higher the safety factor requirement. The smaller the plate shaking, the smaller the safety factor can be. In order to allow users to load materials more safely, the vacuum table is designed with double main beams. When the height of the electric hoist is sufficient, it can be fixed on the 4 hanging points of the double main beams with 4 slings. The board is much more stable and safer when feeding.
