The similarity principle is the theoretical basis for the design of similar enlargement or reduction of the vacuum table and the determination of the performance of physical objects and serialized products through model tests. In order to have the same performance between the model vacuum suction cup and the enlarged or reduced physical vacuum suction cup, it is necessary to ensure that the spring hangers between the two vacuum suction cups are geometrically similar, similar in motion and similar in power.

1. Geometrical similarity means that the shape of the flow channel and the circulation circle of the two vacuum chucks are similar and the linear dimensions of the corresponding points are proportional, and the corresponding angles are equal.

2. Similar motion means that the liquid flow shapes in the two vacuum suction cups are similar, the speeds of the corresponding points are proportional, and the directions are the same.

3. Power similarity refers to the force of the same nature acting on each corresponding point of the liquid flow in the working wheel in the two vacuum suction cups, and the direction of each type of force is the same, and the magnitude is proportional.
